   “哗！这就是用报纸卷成的铅笔啊！好漂亮！”“老师，我要和它合影！”昨天是世界环境日，本报印务中心迎来了一批活泼可爱的小客人———来自济南市30多所小学的100多名学生与他们的老师一起，参加了“爱心·环保2022”启动仪式。

 据统计，从5月25日本报发出“报纸换铅笔，环保献爱心”倡议以来，全市共有60多所学校积极参与了此项活动，首批回收的旧报纸总重达40多吨。

 仪式上，主办单位向前来参与启动仪式的30多所学校代表颁发了纪念证书，并向到场的每个孩子赠送了一组环保纪念铅笔。发起人心宇姐姐在仪式上作了发言。她说，孩子们的环保意识是最真诚也是最强烈的，好多小朋友见到身边的花花草草或是小动物受到伤害都会很伤心，因而，热心环保应该从“小”做起、从“我”做起。心宇姐姐还和孩子们一块算起了数：每回收1吨旧报纸，就可以减少砍伐18棵树龄至少10年以上的大树，孩子们捐献的报纸加起来有40多吨，就可以减少砍伐720棵大树！这已经足够让我们的校园多出一片绿色的森林……

 一名小学生代表在仪式上宣读了爱心环保倡议书，号召大家行动起来，保护环境！倡议得到了全场小朋友的热烈支持。

    来自豪贤路小学二年级的陆婉莹小朋友说，同学们知道了这次活动都特别积极，因为手上没有秤，他们还“发明”了用“张”来计数的办法。最厉害的一位小朋友捐了6.5万张报纸，爸爸妈妈帮忙足足数了一个晚上！而其他小朋友最少的也捐了3000多张……四年级的许艺凡小朋友认真地告诉记者：“我觉得这样的活动非常有意义。它不但告诉同学们要支持环保、爱护大自然，还让我们能尽自己的力量帮助有需要的小朋友，所以我希望大家都来支持这个活动！”
  红火炬小学的辅导员劳老师表示，得知羊城晚报和团市委发起这次活动，学校领导和老师都十分支持和赞同，因为这是一个开展爱心教育的好机会。劳老师指出，现在的孩子基本上都是独生子女，很容易养成以自我为中心的习惯，多参与这样的主题活动，可以帮助孩子们树立心中有他人、心中有社会的正确信念，这同时也是德育的重要内容。
  仪式结束后，孩子们兴奋地参观了亚洲最大的全数码印刷基地———羊城晚报印务中心，紧张有序的报纸印刷流程和红翠掩映的美妙园景让他们大开眼界。
  据悉，本次活动首批捐赠报纸共制成了30万支环保铅笔，其中15万支将通过团市委捐给山区学生，而所有参与学校都将获得1000支环保铅笔作为纪念。主办方将把剩余的铅笔全部送给支持和热爱环保的孩子们。

Guests—more than 100 students from more than 30 primary schools in Jinan, together with their teachers, participated in the launching ceremony of "Love · Environmental Protection 2022".

    According to statistics, since the newspaper issued the "Newspapers for pencils, environmental protection and love" initiative on May 25, more than 60 schools in the city have actively participated in this activity, and the first batch of recycled old newspapers weighed more than 40 tons.

    At the ceremony, the organizer issued commemorative certificates to the representatives of more than 30 schools who came to participate in the launching ceremony, and presented a set of environmental protection commemorative pencils to each child present. Xinyu, the founder, made a speech at the ceremony. She said that children's awareness of environmental protection is the most sincere and strongest. Many children will be very sad when they see the flowers, plants and small animals around them being hurt. Therefore, enthusiasm for environmental protection should start from "small" and "me" Do it. Sister Xinyu also counted with the children: every ton of old newspapers recycled can reduce the felling of 18 trees that are at least 10 years old, and the newspapers donated by the children add up to more than 40 tons, which can reduce Cut down 720 big trees!     Lu Wanying, a second-year student at the Houxian Road Primary School, said that the students were very active when they knew this activity, because they didn't have scales in their hands, and they also "invented" the method of counting with "Zhang". The most powerful kid donated 65,000 newspapers, and his parents helped count them all night! The other children donated at least 3,000 copies... The fourth grader Xu Yifan told reporters seriously: "I think this kind of activity is very meaningful. It not only tells the students to support environmental protection and love nature, but also allows us to Do your part to help children in need, so I hope everyone will support this event!"

    The counselor of Red Torch Primary School, Mr. Lao, said that the leaders and teachers of the school were very supportive and agreed to learn that the Yangcheng Evening News and the Youth League Municipal Committee launched this activity, because it is a good opportunity to carry out love education. Teacher Lao pointed out that nowadays children are basically only children, and it is easy to develop the habit of self-centeredness. Participating in such theme activities can help children establish the correct belief that they have others and society in their hearts. It is also an important part of moral education.

    After the ceremony, the children excitedly visited the Yangcheng Evening News Printing Center, the largest all-digital printing base in Asia. The tense and orderly printing process of newspapers and the wonderful landscape surrounded by red greenery opened their eyes.

    It is reported that the first batch of donated newspapers made 300,000 environmentally friendly pencils, of which 150,000 will be donated to students in mountainous areas through the Youth League Committee, and all participating schools will receive 1,000 eco-friendly pencils as a souvenir. The organizer will give all the remaining pencils to children who support and love environmental protection.
